Andrea Corr

Inspired by parents, still going strong

Since 2005, she had been taking time out from recording and touring with The Corrs. Andrea Corr's greatest artistic love has been music since the age of 15. Her parents had a band called The Sound Affair and they were on the road for a while. They often played in a pub at weekends. Andrea's dad played keyboards and her mum sang. They did one recording in their lives when they went into studio and one of the songs they recorded was Blue Bayou. That's where Andrea Corr got inspired. The singer learned French while she took time out, and did acting courses. A little disillusioned with aspects of the music industry, Andrea Corr decided to simply step away from music until she was interested again. The good news is, she produced a new album, "Lifelines" and it's available now.
